Similarly to February, March fragrance launches are kind of all over the map in terms of scent profiles. Most brands seem to be going full-on spring with big florals, while others are teetering in the transition period with gourmand concoctions and skin scents. We’re also seeing several flankers of beloved franchises, like Glossier’s You, Marc Jacobs’ Daisy and Estée Lauder’s Bronze Goddess. Here, our favorite new fragrances to have on your radar this month.
The Best New Fragrances This Month
Byredo Blanche Absolu Eau de Parfum (Starting at $230)
The next chapter of the brand’s Blanche story, Blanche Absolu is a richer, more intense version of the original floral EDP, which we also love. As Byredo describes, the genderless fragrance “delves into the striking contrast between purity and strength, grounded by an enduring base enriched with amber wood notes evoking the comforting heat of bodies at rest and the imprint of closeness.” Additionally, the brand plans to expand the collection with limited-edition body care, textiles and home products, launching throughout the year.

The brand describes this fragrance as “an unforgettable escape into a floral wonderland,” and we couldn’t agree more. It’s vibrant and fun and immediately makes you perk up when you spray it on. Right away you get bold floral, but the dry down is warm. As the brand says, “It captures the free-spirited adventure of exploring wild landscapes and embracing the bold yet delicate allure of nature’s most surprising treasures.”

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Aegea Eau de Parfum ($90)
When you can’t actually make it to on the dreamy Greek vacation that gets dangled in front of you every day on Instagram, spritz this floral-green scent instead. (I was a big fan of the original Bronze Goddess when it launched in 2019, and love this one, too.) Feminine and fresh with a hint of creamy coconut milk, it’s one you won’t want to miss in your fragrance wardrobe this spring and summer (and it’s limited-edition, so get it while you can).

D.S. & Durga Brown Flowers Eau de Parfum (Starting at $210)
I love the campaign for this fragrance and the fact that it’s giving me something I haven’t seen in fragrance before: the darker side of flowers where traditional beauty ideals look a little different. “Brown Flowers is concocted of aging vials of umber hues, weird brown orchids, coffee flower, and dry jasmine buds littered with faded citrus peels,” the brand says. “It’s an elegant yet daring blend, evoking the balance between floral freshness, rich warmth and deep, earthy complexity.”

It is a celebration where floral meets fearlessness.”

philosophy Fresh Cream Soft Velvet Eau de Toilette ($54)
The name of this gourmand fragrance perfectly captures the feeling it gives you when you wear it. It’s creamy, soft and velvety, yet not overpowering. The brand says it’s a “richer evolution” of its fresh cream (a fan favorite) and it “transports you to a room surrounded by the flickering flow of warm candlelight, nestled under a plush velvet blanket.”

Fulton & Roark Ghost Trees Extrait de Parfum ($205)
This woody-floral-musk fragrance gives fresh summer vibes and was inspired by the ghost trees at Pescadero Point in California. Molton Brown Bluebell & Wild Strawberry Eau de Parfum ($180)
“It all started in the countryside,” says Veronique Nyberg, senior perfumer. “I wanted to have a very contrasted fragrance to highlight the energy and the feeling I had in the forest. This vivid color of all those little flowers on the green carpet of the forest is amazing. Spring is the right moment.” Spring is also the time when Nyberg “feels grounded, energized by walks in nature, gardening and memories of Alpine bluebells,” the brand says. This fruity-floral fragrance combines the scent of the bluebell with wild strawberries and warm amber for an energizing scent unlike any other you’ve smelled before.

Juliette Has a Gun Miami Shake Eau de Parfum (Starting at $115)
A creamy gourmand that makes strawberry the star, this fragrance is a total mood booster. Indulgent and playful, it’s a no-brainer for summertime. “With Miami Shake, I decided to present the first really gourmand fragrance of the collection,” says founder Romano Ricci. “With wild strawberries as a top note, of course they had to be wild like Juliette: an elevated fruity scent, silky like whipped cream and musky, with a long-lasting trail. As the composition came together, the woman behind the perfume appeared to me as well, playing hide and seek in her oversized Miami villa. Pastels colors, blue pool and retro vibes. It’s never too much. Will her olfactory treat make you succumb?”

Granado Citrus Brasilis Eau de Parfum ($155)
Inspired by the scent of an orange tree in perfumer Quentin Bisch’s backyard, as well as the aromatic waters of the brand’s traditional formulations, this fragrance screams citrus and sunshine in a fresh, sophisticated way. “With 80-percent natural ingredients, this perfume undergoes maceration, which is a process performed by a select group of perfumeries worldwide,” says the brand. “It ensures better harmony and maturation of the fragrance’s olfactory notes.”

PHLUR Rose Whip Eau de Parfum ($99)
Not your grandmother’s rose perfume, this modern interpretation is a fruity-floral scent that’s both juicy and warm. It will definitely have the compliments rolling in. “I was inspired by the nuanced nature of the rose—an emblem of both fragile beauty and innate power,” says perfumer Constance Georges-Picot. “To transcend the traditional idea of a rose scent, we undercut the floral bouquet with subtle leathery and woody notes to embody the depth of each wearer. We’ve created a fragrance that gives yourself permission to explore yourself and your temptations.”

Glossier You Fleur Eau de Parfum ($78)
Like the other fragrances in Glossier’s You collection, Fleur is also a musky “skin-scent enhancer that wears close to the skin” and mixes well with your body’s natural scent. This allows it to smell a little differently on everyone, and everyone is loving this one at launch. An “airy and luminous floral blend,” it’s perfect for spring.
“I crafted this composition to capture the glowing warmth of sunlight as it gently glides over velvety, sun-kissed skin,” says perfumer Dora Bagriche. “What emerges is a captivating floral fragrance that feels both intimate and radiant—a scent that reveals different facets of its character, just as you reveal different aspects of yourself. Fleur isn’t just a perfume; it’s a reflection of your inner beauty—an invisible signature that’s unmistakably and beautifully yours.”

Narciso Rodriguez’s signature scent gets a bold makeover for its next iteration, swapping soft pink for vibrant fuchsia. It was an intentional design choice that “mirrors the potent intensity of the fragrance within, capturing the essence of strength, grace and modern femininity.”
Perfumer Sonia Constant says the EDP is an “interpretation of the heart of musc, which is reinvented at the core of its musky signature. The fragrance has an intensity from the very first notes with a fruity, spicy and sensual opening combining peach and cinnamon. That intensity remains right until the dry down, with a powerful woody trail composed of vetiver, moss, warm amber notes and addictive vanilla. This new fragrance will be loved by the aficionados of the line looking for more intensity in order to maximize the iconic essence of for her, but it will also be loved by anyone who is intrigued by the new intensity trend.”
